Our Level 1 program is designed to transform absolute beginners into confident readers. We focus on the Makharij (articulation points) of the Arabic alphabet to ensure a perfect accent from day one.
Arabic Alphabet Shapes & Sounds
Master all 28 letters with correct pronunciation and letter forms.
Tashkeel Rules
Fatha, Kasra, Damma, Sukoon, Shadda, and Madd (Elongation).
Word Formation & Reading
Connecting letters, simple syllables, and reading short Quranic verses.
Essential Memorization
Memorization of Six Kalimas and essential daily Islamic prayers (Duas).
Course Structure
Beginner Level
Keeps beginners from Madina Quran Institute engaged as they develop Quran reading skills through phonetic memory and Tajweed Rules. We focus on building a strong foundation that allows students to transition smoothly into advanced recitation.
Level 2: Nazra (Fluency & Advanced Tajweed)
In Level 2, we bridge the gap between reading and recitation. Students progress through the Juz with a focus on rhythm, intonation, and the deep application of Tajweed science.
Fluent Recitation
Progressive reading from Juz 30 (Juz Amma) through to Juz 1.
Advanced Tajweed Rules
Ikhfa, Idgham, Iqlab, and mastery of Qalqalah (echoing sounds).
Waqf & Vocabulary
Proper stopping and breathing rules, plus Quranic vocabulary and basic grammar.
Surah Memorization
Memorization of selected Surahs with rhythmic recitation development.
